Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) Award Presentations
Each year, Post 69 visits each high school and many universities within Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk and present over 24 medals and citations to youth members of their respective JROTC division.
Post 69 volunteers each holiday season at the Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery supporting the Wreaths Across America with placing wreaths on each gravesite or internment.
Virginia Veteran's Day Parade
Post 69 proudly participates in the only authorized Veterans Day Parade by the VA within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Some years we have members representing other AMVETS Posts in the Tidewater Virginia area (Post 14 Portsmouth and Post 30 Hampton).
